Abdulrahman Replaces Adesanya As NNL Chief Operating Officer

The Nigeria Football Federation NFF has appointed Dr. Ayo Hameed Abdulrahaman as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Nigeria National League, as he takes over from Mr. Emmanuel Adesanya who has retired from the Federal Civil Service after attaining the age of 60 years.

Abdulrahman, who holds a doctorate degree in Physical and Health Education, has vast experience in football organisation and administration. He was a Deputy Director in the Federal Civil Service.

Before his deployment, Dr. Abdulrahaman was the Deputy Director in the NFF Competitions Department. He had previously worked for many years as Chief Operating Officer of the NNL, and also served in the same capacity in the Nigeria Women’s Football League NWFL.

While reacting to his deployment, Abdulrahman said it was a call to duty, emphasising that he would give his best.

“I have worked there before but since then the bar has risen and hopefully, we can take the league to greater heights with the new board of the NNL,” he said.
