CAF CC: Rivers United Couldn’t Convert Their Chances, We’ll Bounce Back – Eguma

Rivers United Technical Adviser, Stanley Eguma has expressed his disappointment over his team’s inability to convert there chances but believes they will come back stronger after suffering defeat in Ghana.

The Pride of Rivers lost 2-1 to Ghana FA Cup holders Dreams FC in their second game of the CAF Confederation Cup in Kumasi.

Eguma rued the missed chances in the game and expects the error to be corrected before their next encounter.

” They ( Dream FC) got their chances and converted them, especially in the first half.

“We had a load of chances in the second half but unfortunately, we couldn’t convert those chances.

“That was our greatest undoing today and I think we have to go back and work on those areas and come back stronger in the next game”, he stated.

Rivers United will welcome group leaders, Club Africain of Tunisia in their next fixture at the Godswill AkpabioInternational Stadium in Uyo on Sunday December 10.

The Tunisian giants registered a 1-3 away win against Academica do Lobito of Angola in their second group game on Sunday December 3.
