Ghana Premier League champion Medeama SC has received a cash boost and a 47-seater bus, as part of motivation ahead of their CAF Champions League preliminary round encounnter against Remo Stars,
Medeama SC, which was founded in 2001, won the Ghanaian Premier League last season for the first time in its history and qualified to represent the country in the Champions League.
They were drawn against Nigeria’s premier league runners-up, Remo Stars FC, in the Preliminary round of the competition.
The president of the country His Excellence Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo supported the team with a cash reward of $88.613.20 for the game.
The team was also rewarded with a 47-seater bus by Hisense among other products to propel the team.
The first leg is slated to take place at Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
