Excellent Football Academy will begin their Delta State Football League campaign with a tricky opening fixture against Delta Marine Academy on Thursday August 3.
The highly anticipated fixture is billed for the Oleh Township Stadium in Delta State with kick-off scheduled for 1pm.
Grouped along side Ogume FC, Osevan FC, Ndame FC, Blessed FC, Flourish FC, Solution FC and Delta Marine FA, the Ughelli based side will be desperate to build on their impressive pre-tournament form that has seen them produce some impressive results.
Excellent Football Academy CEO Mr Onome J. Ikrechero Johnbull, has vowed that his side will not underrate their opponents but will go with full confidence into picking all three points when the take on Delta Marine FA in Oleh.
“No team is a small team in our group so the topic of underrating anyone does not arise. We have put in a lot of work to ensure we achieve our set objective of advancing to the next stage of the competition.”
“These players are well motivated. I have told them they will get Ten Thousand Naira (#10,000) for every win, One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (#150,000) should the team qualify to the Super 8 and a further Two Hundred Thousand Naira (#200,000) should they finish top of the Super 8 league.
Three cities Asaba, Sapele and Oleh will host matches in this years edition of the Delta State Football League.
