Luciano Spalletti is sadly expected to leave Napoli at the end of the season following ongoing tensions with President Aurelio De Laurentiis. The tactician practically confirmed his exit in a post match interview on Sunday, following their 3-1 win over Inter at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Spalletti is mentally exhausted after two seasons in Naples. He has a solid bond with the players and fans, but not so much with President De Laurentiis and has reportedly decided to leave the club to have a break from football and spend more time with family. This comes after an alleged disagreement with the president over an automatic contract renewal at Napoli.

Napoli now have began the search for his replacement and have several options lined up to replace the Scudetto winning coach, including Antonio Conte, Giampiero Gasperini, Luis Enrique , Roberto De Zerbi and Julian Nagelsmann.
