NTA to televise all 52 AFCON matches

The Nigerian Television Authority, NTA has agreed to broadcast all 52 matches of the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, in partnership with Afro Sports.

Following weeks of speculation, CAF as title owner and New World Televisions as exclusive Pay-Per-View and Free-to-Air license holder, have both confirmed that the 34th edition of the Africa Nations Cup will be available to Nigerian viewers in its entirety, courtesy of Afrosport and its network of Free-to-Air channels across Nigeria.

Afrosport will be the Free-to-Air rights-holder, and will distribute through NTA, the national broadcaster, and through its Afrosport Free-to-Air Affiliate Network partners.

There are also reports that SuperSport has made a U-turn and agreed to broadcast the Africa Cup of Nations after previously stating that it will not show the competition because the channel had not secured the rights to broadcast it.
