Super Eagles centre-forward, Victor Osimhen, visited popular Nigerian philanthropist Tony Elumelu, yesterday at his residence as he presented one of his Napoli jerseys to the business Mogul.
The Napoli striker has been enjoying a well-deserved holiday after a successful season with his club side, and amidst transfer links to Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, he visited a household name in Nigeria when it comes to the business world, Tony Elumelu.
Osimhen, who recently visited his old friends where he grew up in the Olusosun area of Lagos-State, and was also seen having fun in the Lagos nightlife alongside Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho sometime last month, yesterday took to his social media page to show his visit to the residence of Tony Elumelu, tagging the picture with the caption “A man of honour.”
Tony Elumelu, popularly known as the chairman of Heirs Holdings, United Bank for Africa Plc and Transcorp Nigeria Plc, also took to Twitter to show how proud he is of the feat Osimhen achieved with Napoli by winning the Scudetto, and the Capocannoniere winner followed up with a quote on Elumelu’s tweet, showing his gratitude to the philanthropist.
The 6 feet 1-inch tall striker recently disclosed how his success with Napoli has now made him addicted to winning trophies.
Osimhen has been a target for the European big boys all summer long, but anyone willing to have the prolific striker on their books will have to spend big, as Napoli are unwilling to listen to any offers below 150 million euros.
