Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has a big transfer decision to make before the current summer transfer window closes.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that Victor Osimhen is going nowhere despite serious interest from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
Al Hilal had their bid of £120 million for the Nigerian striker rejected by Napoli in late July as the Partenopei are believed to value him in the region of over £150 million.
“Osimhen is staying, he still has two years on his contract. Where should he go? The contracts exist and they are always to be respected on both sides because they are a bilateral relationship.” Aurelio De Laurentiis stated.
However, Osimhen’s family appears to be rallying behind the idea of the 24-year-old striker signing with Al-Hilal.
According to information sourced from Corriere del Mezzogiorno via Tutto Napoli, a significant portion of Osimhen’s inner circle, comprising friends, family members, and intermediaries, seems to be in favour of him embracing the lucrative offer put forth by Al-Hilal.
Victor Osimhen scored 31 goals in 39 games last season for Napoli helping them win the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years.
With an existing contract binding Osimhen to Napoli until 2025, his Italian agent, Roberto Calenda, remains firmly committed to steering the forward towards renewing his contract with Napoli.
