Sadiq Umar, Two Others Receive Late Call-ups For Saudi Arabia, Mozambique Friendlies

Due to injuries ahead of the October international friendly matches arranged for the Super Eagles against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique, the duo of Tyronne Ebuehi and Sadiq Umar have been invited by Jose Peseiro to replace Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi both of Nottingham Forest respectively.

Sadiq Umar plays as a forward for Real Sociedad in the spanish La Liga while Ebuehi plays for Empoli in the Italian Serie A.

Peseiro has also invited Boavista defender Chidozie Awaziem in pace of Cardiff City’s Jamiu Collins who is also out due to injury.

Collins had just recovered from injury and returned to action for Cardiff City in the English Championship after spending almost eight months out injured.

Super Eagles will face Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in friendly games scheduled to hold in Portugal in October.
