Nigeria and Tabora United of Tanzania shot stopper, John Noble Bariyima, has now kept the highest number of clean sheets after Matchday nine of the Tanzania NBC Premier League.
Tabora United went away from home, to hold Geita Gold to a goalless draw on Monday, November 6th in a Matchday nine fixture, giving the former Enyimba International captain his fifth clean sheet of the season, which is the highest so far, in the Tanzanian elite league.
Young Africans goalkeeper, Djigui Diarra, comes second with four clean sheets of the season after the reigning champions and current table toppers defeated Coastal Union 0-1 on their home turf.
Lay Matampi of Coastal Union, Idrisu Abdulai of second placed Azam and Daniel Mgore of fourth placed Dodoma Jiji complete the top five goalkeepers with the highest number of shot outs, with three clean sheets apiece.
John Noble’s Tobora United is placed ninth on the league table with 11 points.
