World record holder in the 100 meters hurdles, Tobi Amusan has emerged the winner of the Diamond League trophy for a third consecutive time, silencing her critics after a disappointing outing at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest last month.
With a time of 12.33 seconds, the African Queen of tracks emerged as the winner of the fiercely contested 100m hurdles event at the Diamond League in Oregon, the same place she won the title last year.
With the feat, the Nigerian golden girl made history as the second woman in Diamond League history after Dawn Nelson-Harper to win a hat-trick of 100m hurdles titles.
