The Golden Eaglets final Group B match against Togo has been rescheduled to Thursday due to heavy rain in Ghana, which has made the pitch unplayable.
The game, which was earlier slated for Wednesday (today) by 5pm, will now take place on Thursday by 9am on the Rugby pitch at the University of Ghana.
The other Group B fixture between Niger Republic and Burkina Faso has also been postponed and will take place simultaneously due to the same reason.
Heavy rain had led to the postponement of Niger’s encounter with Togo by a day.
Burkina Faso tops Group B with a superior goal difference over Nigeria as both teams have four points apiece.
Hosts Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire have already qualified for the semi-finals from Group A.
